I am a Florida State University alum with a B.A. in Digital Media Production and minor in Film Studies. If you're wondering if I filmed live sports and witnessed a lot of cultural appropriation, the answer is yes to both.

Last summer, I interned at NPR Generation Listen in Los Angeles, CA. While there, I designed interactive Listening Kits like this and managed the blog where I published interviews like this.

Before that, I was the media curator intern at Foundation Center New York. Working alongside the Capacity and Leadership Development team, I edited informational videos for Grantspace and an e-learning series.

At FSU, I wrote for the nation's most-read college satire website The Eggplant FSU. From spring '16 to spring '17, I served as co-editor and grew our Facebook audience from 12K to over 13K. Under my leadership, we first broke news about our school's College Republicans Chapter being charged with sexual harassment and embezzlement.

Aside from my journalism hustle, I was also actively involved in The Center for Leadership and Social Change at FSU. I served as student marketing coordinator for the Multicultural Leadership Summit, which Shaun King keynoted. Other programs that cultivated my passion for creating change and community include LeaderShape, PeaceJam, Women's Leadership Institute and Service Leadership Seminar.
